On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are pleased to invite you to take part in the 12th International Conference on Archaeological Prospection which will take place in Bradford, UK. The Conference is organised by the School of Archaeological Sciences at the University of Bradford and the International Society for Archaeological Prospection.
This is the second time that the University of Bradford has hosted the International Conference on Archaeological Prospection; we had the pleasure of hosting the inaugural meeting in 1995.
All relevant information concerning the venue, programme, accommodation and events will be found on the Conference website: www.ap2017.brad-vis.com. The Conference will be held between Tuesday 12th and Saturday 16th September 2017, in the Norcroft Conference Centre at the University of Bradford’s city campus.
Three special sessions will be held:
- Marine & Inter-tidal Archaeology and Prospection
- Low Altitude Prospection
- Commercial Prospection
and papers will be welcomed in, but not limited to, the following categories:
- Interpretation and presentation of prospection results
- Integrated prospection approaches
- Processing and visualisation of data
- GIS and prospection
- Technical aspects
Abstracts have a 1200 word limit and may contain references and up to 3 illustrations. Details regarding submission, including a submission template, will be provided on www.ap2017.brad-vis.com very soon. Deadline for abstract submission: 1st February 2017.
